The Ultimate Angostura Tour And Tasting

TasteTrini.com has partnered with Angostura on the most in-depth Tour and Tasting that the distillery has ever offered.
The Tour begins with a visit to their Museum where they house a collection of rare butterflies, exhibits dating back to the early days of Angostura, as well as relics from Venezuela.
It continues into the bitters manufacturing room, the bottling plant and the distillery.
Visitors get an introduction to Angostura’s Heritage as well as an introduction to how the company’s many products are made.
John Georges, Angostura’s Master Distiller then conducts a tasting session that spans some of Angostura’s most Iconic rums.
He explains the process of distilling, ageing, and blending rum as well as how to detect and appreciate different nuances and notes while sipping rum.
This unique Angostura Experience concludes with a cocktail workshop hosted by Angostura’s Chief Mixologist; Raymond Edwards.
Edwards will guide everyone in the creation of the perfect Queen’s Park Swizzle; “the Official cocktail of T&T” as well as guidelines on using their award winning liqueur “Amaro di Angostura” in drinks.
Following the cocktail segment, some light refreshment will be be offered and guests will have an opportunity to visit the Angostura Gift Shop.
