Tracking and Counting Trinidad’s Oilbirds

A film by Mike G. Rutherford on the population and movement of oilbirds (Steatornis caripensis) in Trinidad, Trinidad & Tobago. The project included members of the Asa Wright Nature Centre management committee, staff from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, and other volunteers and was part funded by the Wildlife Conservation Society and Feather Link. Two papers were published based on the data collected: GPS Tracking of the Foraging Movements of Oilbirds (Steatornis caripensis) from The Dunston Cave at Asa Wright Nature Centre, Trinidad
