The House of Angostura is Trinidad’s only rum distillery; They’re known locally for brands like Fernandes Black Label Rum and White Oak Rum, and respected across the cocktail world for their iconic bitters that has become the industry standard.

We recently had the chance to take a tour of their facility that included visiting the rum and bitters production facilities as well as the Museum and Barcant Butterfly Collection.

This Angostura visit ended with a rum Master Class conducted by Master Distiller John Georges, and a cocktail workshop hosted by their chief Mixologist Raymond Edwards.
