Hike to Matelot Waterfall

The last UWI Hike was a journey to the Matelot Waterfall in East Trinidad, a place that hiking groups rarely venture to because of the long and winding drive to get there.

Upon finally reaching the waterfall, we had to quickly leave in the interest is safety as some sudden torential ran lead to flooding that may have potentially left us stranded in the forest. Making the best of the situation, we spent the rest of the day relaxing near a beach while it drizzled and sampling some homemade ice cream before heading back.
