The UWI Afrikan Society is hosting their third annual Carnival concert.

Lavway is a word used in Trinidadian Dialect (English Creole) taken from Patois with multiple meanings. Meanings include a voice (particularly a singing voice), and a song played by tamboo-bamboo bands to accompany the stick-fighting Kalinda.
