Mount St Benedict to Mount Tabor

The UWI HFAF aka the Hiking Club started the 2016 series of hikes with a journey from the Mt St Benedict Abbey to Mount Tabor; a peak that offers an amazing view of the entire Caroni Plain and a large portion of the Central Range.

The hike included a brief stop at the ruins of a monastery that pre-dates the current one as well as a stop to ascend a tower used for finding and preventing forest fires.
