Expedition to Guanapo Gorges

Last weekend, the UWI Health Fitness and Adventure Society took hikers to the mystical Gunapo Gorges in North East Trinidad. The highlight of the hike was jumping off a small waterfall and then traversing through the “Gunapo Gorges”, a formation created as the river cut through solid limestone rock resulting in a gorge 400 metres long and up to 40 metres high in places.
