Lavway; a word used in Trinidadian Dialect (English Creole) taken from Patois with multiple meanings. Meanings include a voice (particularly a singing voice), and a song played by tamboo-bamboo bands to accompany the stick-fighting Kalinda.
Lavway is a unique Carnival themed concert, presented by the U.W.I. African Society.
The concert will be at the Daaga Auditorium from 6:30 pm on Saturday 7th February.
