Telios Code Jam offers opportunities to UWI students.

Telios Systems was on campus on Thursday 22nd September to speak to students about their upcoming Code Jam competition.
The competition involves the use of Information Technology to facilitate development in a multi-state region.
The three-phased scoring system takes advantage of not only coding skills but also presentation skills; so not having a background in I.T. is not a problem.
Last year UWI took home both first place and second place with first place being an Application for gathering and managing feedback on social equity issues.
Placing in this competition means not only a prize but experience that looks good on a resume.
Check out the competition page for more information but hurry…… registration closes on the 30th September 2011.

As the Telios presentation was being wrapped up at Engineering 101, the engineering Students Society All fours tournament was just starting up downstairs at the Engineering Undercroft.
Stay tuned to for highlights.
