Hindu Society opens the school year with its first Satsang

Satsang is an Indian philosophy that involves an assembly of people contemplating the highest truths by listening to Hindu scriptures and teachings under the guidance of a spiritual Guru.
The UWI Hindu Society hosts such an event every week (Tuesdays at 6:30 pm). they started off their series of Satsangs on the first week of school with one being held on the first Tuesday of Orientation Week in the Quadrangle.
The event was done in collaboration with the Pasea Sai Centre; a hardworking organization that helps people throughout the Caribbean.
They often build pre-fabricated houses for people in need and have done so for our neighbours in Haiti after the devastating earthquake.
