The UWI Hindu society is hosting their annual Garba celebrations on Saturday, 9th October 2010 at the JFK Auditorium from
6:00 pm to 9:30 pm; all are invited.

The Dandaya is the chief folk dance of the state of Gujurat in India. Dandiya is usually performed in groups, wherein young men and women dressed in colourful costumes dance in circles with multihued sticks in their hands to the lively beat of drums.
This festival is very popular during the Navratri season and the dance is performed around an altar of Devi.
